2nd Lunch with Legends Announced
The Falcon Nation Charity Organization, Inc. (“FNCO”) is proud to announce its second Lunch With Legends, Dec 7th, 2010. This luncheon will honor the first 3 FNCO True Falcon Award Winners as recognized by the fans of the Falcons.
This time we are adding a component to the luncheon, and we want you to be directly involved! As part of the annual Lunch With Legends event, the FNCO will present former players with the True Falcon Award. This award, selected and presented by the Falcon’s fan base, will honor former players of the Falcons who gave 100% to their team and their community. The True Falcon Award
The True Falcon Award, presented by the Falcon Nation Charity Organization, is given to former players of the Atlanta Falcons. This award is to recognize the players who best exemplified excellence both on and off the field. Characteristics of a True Falcon include:
· Dedication to excellence on the field and in the community
· Willingness to give 100% of their efforts for the team and the fans
· Display a high level of character
· Display leadership, sacrifice and dedication to the Atlanta Falcons.
Please join FNCO and fellow Atlanta Falcon Fans at Taco Mac in Sandy Springs for an extraordinary opportunity to meet and interact with several legendary veterans of the Atlanta Falcons. Join us for lunch with our special guests and the inaugural class of True Falcon Award Winners:
• Steve Bartkowski – former Falcons Quarterback, Ring of Honor member
• Todd Weiner – former Falcons Offensive Lineman
• Bobby Butler – former Falcons Defensive Back
These Falcons legends will take part in a panel discussion, fielding questions from the fans in attendance. This is a fantastic opportunity to ask your favorite former Falcons questions about their time in the NFL, and hear great stories about the NFL past and present. There will also be a silent auction with a chance to win autographed items from the legends and from the Falcons.
D’Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for Lunch With Legends. All proceeds from the event will benefit the charities of the True Falcon Award Winners.

Falcon Nation Charity Organization, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation whose primary purpose is to utilize the relationship between the Atlanta Falcons and its fans to facilitate the charitable goals of the Atlanta Falcons, its players, and staff. FNCO will accomplish this goal through independent fundraising and making its members available for volunteer service.
